Kingsgate Hotel The Avenue has been designed to put a smile on your face.

Set in large grounds and beautiful gardens with an outdoor in-ground swimming pool and BBQ area, there is ample room to relax outdoors and enjoy the surroundings.

Restaurant

Enjoy a lamb or beef meal from our 6 x times award-winning licensed restaurant. Chef changes the menu regularly so you will need to eat here at least once a week to sample  something different from the menu. With  a combination of fine wine, mouth-watering food and sensational service you are sure of a complete dining experience in our restaurant.

The Bar 

The Mixx Bar and Cafe is a stylish place to gather with your friends and family. Enjoy a cocktail or a New Zealand wine with a mouth-watering meal from the cafe menu. Or simply kick back and watch your favourite sport on the big LCD screen while enjoying your "beer of choice" from the extensive range. The Mixx Bar and Cafe can also be hired for private functions whether it be an after-work party, birthday or pre-wedding occasion.

If you use Kingsgate Hotel The Avenue as the venue for your wedding, the bride and groom will have the Executive Studio for their wedding night, with our compliments.
The Dickens room has a built-in bar and enjoys direct access to a small glassed-in conservatory, the swimming pool, barbeque and picnic area.

Kingsgate Hotel The Avenue offers a variety of rooms to suit most budgets.

Choose from an Executive Studio with elegant lounge and dining furnishings, standard rooms or budget rooms.

Every room has an ensuite shower and/or bath, SKY television and tea & coffee making facilities. 

Some rooms have minibars and others have cooking facilities.

• Standard rooms are available - some with views over our picturesque grounds to the pool area or with balconies facing the mountain.
  
• For those looking for that bit extra our Executive Studio with spacious lounge area, kitchen facilities, 27inch LCD TV and spa bath is perfect.
  
• For that extra special weekend our newly renovated apartment-style room features ensuite with spa bath, 27 inch LCD TV, air conditioning/heating and king sized bed.

This room can also have a connecting lounge with 27 inch LCD TV, leather couch, dining table and fully functioning kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.
