Clayridge House provides classic country accommodation, nestled on a ridge in Ruby Bay, in the heart of New Zealand's beautiful Nelson region. With panoramic views of Tasman Bay and the nearby mountain ranges, Clayridge House is the ideal place to relax in peace and privacy.

Close to Nelson and Tasman attractions such as wineries, art and craft studios, golf courses and three national parks, it's also the perfect base for exploring.

Clayridge House offers elegant bed and breakfast accommodation and spacious self-contained cottages, with plenty of warm Kiwi hospitality.

Your hosts, Marion and Peter Copp, are third generation orchardists who returned to the family property more than two decades ago. They love their piece of New Zealand paradise and take great pleasure in sharing it with others. Their aim is to make you feel right at home.

Their friendly golden labrador dog lives at Clayridge House too. You can enjoy his company as much or as little as you want.

Bed and breakfast in Clayridge House 

Clayridge House offers a charming bed and breakfast guest room, with its own separate access, private outdoor patio and central heating. The Mt Arthur Suite, looks out towards Mt Arthur in the nearby Kahurangi National Park and to the sea of Tasman Bay. 

Enjoy a complimentary evening drink in the guest lounge, and in the morning rise to a delicious country-style cooked breakfast including home made jams and home baking. Tea, coffee, fruit juice and filtered water are always available.

Enjoy the day exploring with the assurance of a comfortable nights sleep and refreshing start to your day.

Clayridge Cottages

Clayridge House offers two spacious self-contained cottages, Double View and Apple. These are perfectly located for tramping and hiking forays into the Abel Tasman or Kahurangi National Parks. Great walking tracks are also close by in Nelson's Richmond Ranges.

Activities

Try sea kayaking in New Zealand's Abel Tasman National Park or go for a cruise, river kayak on the Motueka River, ride the ranges or enjoy a round of golf - the activities are endless.

The Mt Arthur Suite

The Mt Arthur Suite has a super king size bed, or two king single beds, an ensuite bathroom, dressing room and sunroom/lounge.

Apple Cottage & Double View Cottage

Each cottage is situated to make the most of the sun and sea views and has two bedrooms, a separate bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and a large lounge opening on to a private outdoor patio.

Television, DVD, radio, linen, hairdryers, electric blankets, towels and toiletries are also provided, along with laundry facilities and access to broadband Internet.

The cottages are an ideal, self-catering base for your holiday in the Nelson region.

Children at Clayridge Cottages:

A small attachable high chair and a port a cot available.
