There are four luxurious bedrooms in the Lodge and six awesome self-contained bush suites. All have ensuites and private balconies with great views over the National Park.

DELUXE ROOMS - ABEL TASMAN & WANGAPEKA

Decorated in natural colours to reflect the walking tracks they are named after, 'Abel Tasman' and 'Wangapeka' rooms have magnificant bush views. Both rooms have views to the orchard and Kahurangi National Park. Ideal for couples with a budget looking for a relaxed fully hosted Boutique Lodge experience with full cooked breakfasts, cocktails at sunset and gourmet dining each evening.

SUPERIOR ROOMS - LESLIE KARAMEA & HEAPHY

The natural colours, complemented by superb views of the National Park, give a sense of space and tranquillity. These rooms are warmed by the sun throughout the day. 'Heaphy' and 'Leslie-Karamea' are large rooms with plenty of space for luggage. Ideal for couples looking for a relaxed fully hosted Boutique Lodge experience with full cooked breakfasts, cocktails at sunset and gourmet dining each evening.

BUSH LODGES - LONELY LAKE, KIWI SADDLE & KAHURANGI POINT

Our most luxurious suites are well appointed and very private with a spacious open plan design, polished timber floors and earthy colours. Surrounded by native trees with great views to Kahurangi National Park, they are perfect for honeymoons or when you want five star nature. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in bed or on your private deck and select dinner bed & breakfast for Lodge-style pampering or B&B self-cater for full freedom.

Private, spacious, stand-alone studios nestled in the bush with views over Kahurangi National Park. With timber ceilings, natural colours and luxury wool carpets our bush chalets offer all the comforts of a Lodge room. Perfect for longer stays or when you want to escape the world; enjoy a leisurely breakfast in bed or on your private deck. Select B&B self-cater for go-as-you-please freedom or add cocktails & dinner on any or all nights.

Dinner at The Resurgence is relaxed and convivial. The four course French-Mediterranean inspired menu uses fresh local produce from the bountiful Tasman area. The wine list features Nelson wines picked to match the menus.

AS ALL THE FOOD IS FRESHLY PREPARED, PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS - vegetarian, foods you dislike etc. Cocktails are served at 7pm, dinner (served 'lodge-style' or at romantic tables) follows at around 7.30pm.

Your well-travelled hosts, Peter & Clare are passionate about the outdoors and work with selected local operators to tailor multi-day activity trips for our guests; kayaking to a secluded bay in the Abel Tasman, fishing the mighty Karamea River, a scenic flight to Farewell Spit or a gentle cycle ride to a winery for lunch.

Hidden away in the beautiful Riwaka Valley, sheltered between the wilderness of Kahurangi National Park and the marble of Takaka Hill, The Resurgence is only 15 minutes drive from the Abel Tasman National Park and Motueka and 50 minutes drive from Nelson airport.
