Te Anau is the closest town to Milford Sound and we are on the main route through Te Anau to Milford Sound and a 20 minute drive from the boat to Doubtful Sound. We have views of the wonderful mountain ranges surrounding this awesome area from our home.

A warm welcome awaits you at Moptop Place Bed and Breakfast with hosts Yvonne and Ian, cats MacArthur and Phoebe and Labrador Zara. We have a modern comfortable, smoke free home 4 - 5 minutes walk from the restaurants, shops and beautiful Lake Te Anau.

The 2 queen ensuite rooms have private entrances, tea/coffee making facilities, fridges, TV's, comfortable chairs, hair dryers, electric blankets on the beds, heaters and fans to ensure your comfort.

We have lovely mountain views from our home. Outside each of the queen ensuite rooms are chairs to sit and enjoy the mountain views after you have had a busy day exploring the spectacular Milford or Doubtful Sounds or perhaps a walk on one of the famous walking tracks. In the morning join your hosts in our dining area and enjoy a generous contintal breakfast.
