Te Anau is the departure point for many excellent hiking and walking tracks and has an international reputation for being the 'walking capital of the world'. Transfers are available to all major tracks, including the Great Walks: the Milford, Routeburn and Kepler Tracks. Te Anau, Manapouri and the road to Milford Sound all offer short walks from 30 minutes to 3-6 hours. Follow the Lakeshore boardwalk straight into town and enjoy the gift shops, retail outlets and also our cafes and restaurants serving fresh local produce.

 Our accommodation is situated in a quiet residential area and is a 1 minute walk to the lake and a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, shops and amenities.
