The Grosvenor Hotel Timaru, New Zealand (NZ) is situated in central Timaru close to the waterfront and just around the corner from the main Timaru shopping area.

Affectionately known as the 'Grand Old Lady of the South', the Grosvenor is very much a part of Timaru's history with ornate styling dating back to the 19th Century.

Accommodation is comfortable and homely and all guest rooms feature telephone, in-house video, internet access, tea and coffee facilities, private bathroom and full room service. Most bathrooms feature a shower only.

Timaru is located half-way between Christchurch and Dunedin and is the gateway to some of the most spectacular scenic and sporting attractions in New Zealand.

The Pillars Restaurant

Pillars restaurant offers quality dining in a relaxed atmosphere, with seating of up to one hundred people.  An a la carte menu caters to all tastes including specialties from the chef. They also have a variety of set menus and buffet menus available.

Seymours Cellar Restaurant

Seymours cellar is fantastic for a unique private dining experience, catering for your function of up to 30 people.  Lining the walls of Seymours is a variety of our wines, to accompany our many options of menus for a private function.

The House Bar
In an intimate setting, the House Bar is perfect for meeting friends to enjoy a pre-dinner drink.

Terrace Bar
A great place to unwind, trying your luck on one of 18 gaming machines.  The bar features a pool table, sky television, trackside, & juke box. Toasted sandwiches & evening bar meals are available.

Conference Facilities

Weddings, small or large  functions / meetings,  theatre style, board room, classroom what ever the function or style.  The conference facilities at The Grosvenor offer theatre style up to 180, classroom up to 50, cocktails up to 200.
